Ebisu-bashi Information

The Hexagonal Skyline Chopsticks, designed by Ma-chan with the image of "moon reading" in mind,
are a special piece dedicated as "Ebisu-bashi" at Nishinomiya Shrine, the head shrine of Ebisu,
during the monthly Shofuku Ennichi Tokaichi (Good Fortune Fair held on the 10th).

Inspired by Ebisu, the deity of prosperity and bountiful harvests,
this limited-label Ma&Mi edition preserves the effortless usability of the Alpha Stick
"grip anything with the lightest touch"
while featuring a festive design that carries wishes of good fortune.

Nishinomiya Shrine, known as the head shrine of over 3,500 Ebisu shrines across Japan,
has long been a sacred place where worshippers pray for prosperity in business and safety at home.

Being able to dedicate the Alpha Stick — a tool designed for modern life —
at such a revered place is deeply meaningful for us.
It symbolizes a bridge between tradition and innovation,
between ritual and everyday living.

Celebrated as "lucky chopsticks that grasp fortune and never let go,"
Ebisu-bashi has been warmly received at the monthly Tookaichi fair,
with many visitors — even from afar — coming specifically to obtain a pair.

Whether as a personal charm or a gift for someone special,
many choose Ebisu-bashi for its auspicious spirit and gentle craftsmanship.

Behind it all lies the Ma&Mi philosophy
born from the creative chemistry between Ma-chan and Mi-chan,
realized through the Alpha Stick that redefined the concept of chopsticks,
and embodied in the Ebisu Chopsticks, which return that spirit of blessing and connection
to Japanese culture.

By blending with local traditions while embracing modern design and functionality,
these chopsticks deliver not just convenience, but a touch of happiness.

We take pride in the belief that they go beyond being mere utensils
serving instead as a bridge between culture and everyday life.

Please note: These chopsticks are offered as auspicious items and do not guarantee religious or spiritual benefits.
